Skylight Gallery

The Skylight Gallery is named for the large rooftop skylight and glass floor which provid a "lightwell" to the main floor. The gallery tells the story of Sault Ste. Marie through a series of vignettes featuring artifacts, photos, maps and text. Installed in the gallery is the last remaining round window which originated in the clock tower prior to the installation of the clock in 1912. It is positioned so that visitors may look upward through the window and see the west face of the clock.
