Post Office to Museum
Located in the dowtown core of the city at the corner of Queen & East streets, this designated heritage building has a rich history in our city from its beginnings as the Dominion Building to the Museum today. It displays photos of the building's construction and the installation of the clock in the tower. Copies of the original drawings for the building by Chief Dominion Architect David Ewart are also on display. An overview of the postal history in the city is highlighted. Included are models of the original building, the clock tower and the original cage elevator.
