The Trust Fund has been established to assist the Sault Ste. Marie Museum to achieve its mandate in the years ahead. All monies donated to the Trust Fund will be placed in a Trust Account with a recognized financial institution and administered by the Museum’s Management Board of Directors.

How will the funds be used?

These funds will only be utilized to:

1. assist with the Museum’s Educational Programs
2. assist with exhibits, both traveling and locally curated
3. assist to preserve and interpret the collection

How to Donate to the Trust Fund

A donation to the Trust Fund may be made by any individual, group, business or organization. Donations may be made at any time.

Cash / Cheque

Any donation to the Sault Ste. Marie Museum in the amount of $1,000 or more will automatically be paid to the Trust Fund.

Bequest Through a Last Will & Testament

A person may decide to provide funds to the Sault Ste. Marie Museum through their Last Will & Testament. These amounts will automatically be placed in the Trust Fund.

All donations to the Trust Fund will be recognized with a charitable donation receipt.

Donors will be recognized with a nameplate placed on a display panel located in the front lobby of the Museum.
